The WLCAC offers a variety of home maintenance programs that assist low-income and senior residents with minor home repairs. We also provide energy and water conservation services. These services not only add aesthetic value to the community, but also help residents conserve energy and thereby save money. Currently, WLCAC has approximately 300 eligible units on a waiting list.
For over 18 years, WLCAC has operated a weatherization project, funded by the Southern California Gas Company. The purpose of this project is to install, in residential housing units, appropriate energy conservation measures and repairs including Attic insulation; Low flow shower heads installation; door and window weather stripping; Duct wrap; Caulking; and Minor building envelope repairs.
Los Angeles City & County Handy Worker Projects
WLCAC operates both City and County-funded Handyworker Projects in the community. These programs provide minor home repair services to low and moderate income homeowners in South Central Los Angeles.
